BSNL Board has been concerned about the massive flood in Gujarat, especially the city of Surat, which is one of the important center for diamond trade and other businesses.
The board has approved a contribution of Rs 5.00 lakhs to the government of Gujarat towards 'Flood relief Operation' in Surat. It has been a matter of satisfaction for the Board that despite the heavy flood in Surat and other flood affected area; BSNL could maintain the operations successfully providing connectivity to the people of Gujarat during their hour of distress.
