BSE to include Gitanjali Gems in BSE-200 index

Premier stock exchange BSE Ltd has decided to include scrips of Gitanjali Gems in BSE-200 index and Agro Tech Foods in BSE-500 index effective December 14.

Premier stock exchange BSE Ltd has decided to include scrips of Gitanjali Gems in BSE-200 index and Agro Tech Foods in BSE-500 index effective December 14.

This was informed by BSE in a statement here today. Following the demerger of the distribution business of Areva T&D India into Smartgrid Automation Distribution and Switchgear Ltd (SADSL), BSE has decided to exclude the said scrip from BSE-200, BSE-500, BSE Capital Goods, BSE Mid-Cap and BSE TASIS Shariah 50 Index, the statement added.
