Bharti ' s Sunil Mittal says there is no difference of opinion with Walmart on their retail JV . Mittal adds that there has been no discussion with Walmart on the issue of a no objection certificate, reports CNBC-TV18. 

Bharti and Walmart were expected to sign the deal by the end of April, that hasn't happened yet. But Mittal says the delay is on account of routine issues.

He said, "This kind of kite flying must stop. Somebody else must be discussing this clause because this is not being discussed at our level. Having said that, I think it's also important to recognise that Bharti's position on competition from the foreign players including its own partners has been very very liberal. We would like to retain out partners we would never like to detain our partners. In my joint ventures where we have protection under out bilateral agreements forget the press note one, we give away our rights to no objection within minutes."
