The world's biggest technology company is hungry for more. Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft is in India and in an interview with CNBC-TV18, Ballmer chalked out the company's plan for growth.

 

Steve Ballmer says, "We did more acquisitions in the last 12 months than any other period of time. We have done a lot of acquisitions, mostly of smaller companies, that we bought for technology. We have done more of our own product development which will be coming into the market."

 

"We think that whether its in online, in entertainment, in mobility in the enterprise etc, we just have a whole lot of opportunities for growth," he adds. 

 

Ballmer also said that India accounted for 30% of the world's top software developers and Microsoft was working hard to tap into this talent pool. Speaking on the company's long-awaited Vista operating system, he said this was probably the best version of Windows so far.
