BAAP Diagnostics gets accreditation from CAP
BAAP Diagnostics Ltd Laboratory gets accreditation from College of American Pathologists. The diagnostic laboratory is a part of BA Research India Limited, one of the leading Clinical Research Organisations, specialising in conducting clinical phase and analysing samples for bioequivalence and bioavailability studies.
Ahmedabad-based BAAP Diagnostics Ltd. Laboratory, has been awarded an accreditation by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). The diagnostic laboratory is a part of BA Research India Limited, one of the leading Clinical Research Organisations, headquartered in Ahmedabad and specialising in conducting clinical phase and analysing samples for bioequivalence and bioavailability studies. The studies conducted by BA Research have been approved by USFDA and AFSSAPS.
A CAP audited diagnostic laboratory, is often a great advantage as the facility is already benchmarked to be of globally approved standards and thereby fastens the process of approvals from global regulatory bodies. It also enables the CRO to conduct tests in a protected environment, making its services more cohesive.
During the CAP accreditation process, inspectors examined the laboratory's records and quality control of procedures for the preceding two years. CAP inspectors also examined the entire staff's qualifications, the laboratory's equipment, facilities, safety programme and record, as well as the overall management of the laboratory.
