Axis Bank has announced the second season of 'Quest' - a Business Quiz featuring premier Business Schools as participants. Quest will see a total of 228 teams from 13 B-schools including the 6 IIMs, (IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Indore, IIM Kozhikode and IIM Lucknow) XLRI, FMS, SPJIMR, JBIMS, MDI, IIFT and XIMB pit their wits and match their knowledge against each other. Mr. Harsha Bhogle, the eminent quizmaster and sports commentator will host the final round of the quiz at Nehru Centre, Mumbai on November 27, 2007. The winners will bag a cash prize of Rs. One Lakh and the runners-up, Rs. Fifty Thousand. 

 

An online preliminary round will be conducted for the registered teams in the respective institutes under the supervision of Axis Bank officials on November 20, 2007. The best team from each B-school will be short-listed and only the top 8 teams would qualify for the final round of the Quiz.

 

According to Mr. S. Bhattacharya, President - Human Resources, Axis Bank, "Since the year 2000, Axis Bank has been tapping top talent from the premier B-Schools for key profiles in various functions and has become a preferred career destination for MBAs. QUEST is geared up to go a long way in establishing a greater bonding between Axis Bank and the B-Schools".

 

The inaugural episode of QUEST took place in January 07. The event witnessed the participation of 198 teams. The team from IIM-Calcutta won the event while the team from IIM-Ahmedabad was runners-up.
