Arshiya International Ltd. (BSE: 506074), a leading global supply chain services company today announced the un-audited results of the company for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 (Q3).

 

Consolidated Highlights

 

  1. Revenue was Rs. 10,543.74 lacs; a YoY increase of 270.88% and a sequential increase of 15.29%.
  2. Net Profit after Tax was Rs. 1041.53 lacs; a YoY increase of 247% and a sequential increase of 85%.
  3. EPS was Rs. 2.31.
  4. EBITDA margin for the quarter was Rs.1393.57 lacs. 

Commenting on the results, Mr. Ajay Mittal, Chairman - Arshiya International Ltd., said, "The growth in this quarter has been in line with our expectations. Our focus has always been to provide maximum customer value and the strong showing is a result of our constant commitment to provide innovative and integrated business solutions to our customers." 

 

Business Outlook

 

Supply chain management and logistics are getting recognized as a critical infrastructure area to sustain India's booming economic growth. Arshiya is poised to take leadership in this segment with some distinct first mover advantages that it has already taken.

 

Arshiya will be investing Rs 3000 crores to build three Free Trade Warehousing Zones (FTWZ) in India and Middle East for providing integrated supply chain services to enhance exim trade.

  • Secured in-principle approval from the Central Government for the FTWZ near Mumbai.  
  • Successfully raised Rs 350 crore through QIP to part finance the first phase of FTWZ and rail corridor development.
