Arena Animation Academy, the leader in hi-end Animation Training, presented 'Perspectives: A seminar on Animation 'at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi. The Seminar was attended by 2200 people.
Constant Industry interactions have revealed that lack of exposure amongst the Indian students on the various aspects of animation pose as a hindrance to the overall development of the individual as a super animator. PERSPECTIVES aimed to bring together professionals from the Animation Community on a common platform to share their knowledge, thoughts, views and experiences of the animation Industry with the students, which would enable them to think beyond the obvious & get an insight into the tremendous career options within Animation, VFX and Gaming.
A host of Animation Industry professionals descended upon Delhi to participate in the symposium. These included Mr. Subhajit Sarkar - Rhythm & Hues, who spoke on 'Need for Specialization'; Mr. Yunus Bukhari - Artery Animation & FX, who spoke on 'Animation & Digital Technology - Its importance & Future in India'; Ms. Swati Gupta - Fusion Toons, who spoke on '2D classical Animation & Advertising', Ms. Uma - ASIFA , who showcased 'International Student Films' & Mr. Siddhartha Vasudeva - D Q Entertainment, who spoke on the pre-requisites for entering the Animation Industry & avenues therein. The seminar was inaugurated by Mr. Salil Desai - Operations Head (West & North), Arena Animation.
Says Mr. R. Krishnan, Executive Director - Aptech Ltd. "Arena Animation launched a series of seminars - "PERSPECTIVES - Animation in India: Future & Careers", to create awareness among students of the unlimited career opportunities in animation and to create a neutral platform for budding animators to interact with the industry professionals. We are glad that professionals from the industry participated and lent their full support to the seminar."
In his inaugural address, Mr. Salil Desai said - "We believe that outreach is very necessary for Indian Animation and just made an effort to bring the industry professionals and the student community together on a common platform, which would definitely leave the students with an experience which I am sure they will always cherish"
