There is a dissenting voice from one minority sharholder of Corus. JCB, a construction machinery company, which owns 2% of Corus. CNBC-TV18 has the details.

Sir Anthony Bamford, Head of JCB has said in a letter to the financial times, that he was saddened and disappointed at the expected sale of Corus group to Tata Steel. In comments published today, he said the 455 pence per share offer price was too low and warned that British manufacturing would lose out from the deal.

"I am saddened and disappointed that Corus is failing to lead the consolidation of the global steel industry and instead appears eager to rush into the hands of Tata, a significantly smaller steelmaker than itself," said Bamford.
