The buzz of Apollo Hospitals being in talks to buy stake in Kovai Medical were put to rest when both parties involved denied the report.
Rubbishing the speculation, Apollo Hospitals said that it is not aware of Kovai Medical stake buy plan, reports CNBC-TV18 quoting NewsWire18.
PK Gopikrishnan, Chief Financial Officer of Kovai Medical Centre too has rebuked the statement and said that there is no truth in it. "This has come as a surprise to us. We are not in any talks with Apollo."
Sources had said that Kovai Medical was seeking Rs 180-200 per share for the stake.
