Nutrilite – Amway’s health supplement brand and the world’s leading brand of vitamins, minerals, and dietary supplements - unveiled its new global advertising campaign – Number 1 Scores Number 10 - which leverages the brand’s partnership with soccer superstar Ronaldinho.

 

The two-time FIFA Player of the Year - Ronaldinho’s association with Amway’s brand – Nutrilite - is aimed to help the brand in reaching out to consumers in an unprecedented way. With his awareness and favorability scores strong around the world, this is the ideal way for the brand to not only gain a strong visibility in the global market but also lead to additional long-term sales. As an example of a more sales-specific driver, Europe has launched a two-month pan-European promotion of Nutrilite Daily which is seeing significant incremental sales.

 

The Number 1 Scores Number 10 campaign is designed to raise awareness of Nutrilite products as well as Team Nutrilite. Ronaldinho, who uses Nutrilite Daily as part of his training regime, is the latest addition to the Nutrilite roster which currently includes world-class athletes’ - sprinter Asafa Powell (formerly the World's Fastest Man) , hurdler Liu Xiang ( World Record Holder in the 110-meter hurdles) and sprinter Sanya Richards (world's fastest 400-meter woman in 2007) .

 

The inspirational campaign is the next generation of the brand’s foray into consumer-focused advertising. The new ad campaign, which is being made available to the 58 countries where Nutrilite is sold, is part of a global integrated marketing initiative supporting the extraordinary Ronaldinho partnership.

 

The keystone of the partnership includes Ronaldinho's appointment as the Nutrilite Global spokesperson for the Amway One by One campaign for children. Amway will be donating $25,000 per goal that Ronaldinho makes to Amway's One by One campaign – which has raised US $ 39 million and has touched the lives of 5 million children across the globe.
