Amisha Sethi, CCO, AirAsia brings with her over a decade of consumer and brand marketing experience. In her previous roles she has spearheaded brand marketing for Asia Pacific region at BlackBerry and has also worked for one of the India's biggest telecom operator; Airtel in Marketing and communications.
Malaysian carrier AirAsia has appointed Amisha Sethi as the chief commercial officer for its India operations. The announcement comes after two months of the carrier appointing Mittu Chandilya as the CEO.
AirAsia is all set to start Indian operations later this year along with its joint venture partners Tata Sons and Telestra Tradeplace and has already started appointing key executives for Indian market.
Meanwhile, AirAsia has in a statement said, "Amisha brings with her over a decade of consumer and brand marketing experience. In her previous roles she has spearheaded brand marketing for Asia Pacific region at BlackBerry and has also worked for one of the India's biggest telecom operator; Airtel in Marketing and communications."
Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia India, Mittu Chandilya said, "I am extremely excited about joining the AirAsia India team. We are absolutely committed to bringing affordable fares with a sharp focus on customer safety and quality of service to the Indian market."
At present, AirAsia through its operations based in Thailand and Malaysia already connect Chennai, Bangalore, Thiruchirapalli (Trichy), Kochi and Kolkata to Asean and beyond.

On March 31, 2015, at 14:01 hrs Jet Airways was quoting at Rs 491.50, up Rs 13.50, or 2.82 percent. The 52-week high of the share was Rs 543.50 and the 52-week low was Rs 203.50.
The latest book value of the company is Rs -196.11 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was -2.51.
