After Jet agreeing to buy Air Sahara for Rs 1,450 crores last week, the airline will be renamed JetLite.

In an interaction with the media, Naresh Goyal of Jet Airways states that the market share of the combined entity is seen at 33% post the acquisition of Sahara.

Jet and Air Sahara's combined FY08 net revenues are seen at USD 2.5 billion.

Goyal added that Jet Airways will raise USD 400 million to fund overseas expansion. Also, Jet and Air Sahara will operate as independent companies.

Jet airways' auditor Rajesh Chaturvedi said that Jet would pick up only the working capital liabilities of Air Sahara.
