Air India singed an agreement for  68 new Boeing jets on 30th December  2005 which was the largest commercial airplane order in India's civil aviation history at a list price of nearly US$ 11 billion . The order consisted of 23 s, including eight 777-200LR (Longer Range) Worldliners and 15 777-300ERs (Extended Range), and 27 . Air India Express, and  18 s for its wholly owned subsidiary company Air India Charters Limited which operates the low cost no frill airline AIR INDIA EXPRESS.  Air India would be taking the delivery of the first 737-800 aircraft by the end of November 06 in Seattle followed by the second aircraft towards end December 06.

 

Alteon is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company within Boeing Commercial Airplanes' Commercial Aviation Services group. The training organization supports the world's aviation community with more than 70 full flight simulators in over 20 locations around the world.
