Air India launches special promo fares on intl routes

Air India has launched special all-inclusive promotional return fares on its international routes. The airline is offering return fares as low as Rs 15,999 on the India-UAE route and Rs 51,999 on the India-US sector. "The scheme is valid for out-bound travel with immediate effect to the Far East destinations like (Seoul, Osaka and Tokyo) and the Near East destinations (Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore). On sectors to the US, the UK, Europe and UAE the validity of travel would be from January 21, 2013," an Air India spokesperson said.

The seven-day scheme started yesterday and would remain open till December 16. The fares have been launched for travel on more than 15 city pairs worldwide. The return fare for the US (New York, Newark and Chicago) is Rs 51,999, for the UK (London) Rs 40,999 and for Europe (Frankfurt and Paris) is Rs 35,999. For UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah) the fare is Rs 15,999 while for the Far East it is Rs 34,999 and for Near East it's Rs 17,999. Passengers travelling from Delhi would have to pay Rs 2,000 more, the spokesperson said, adding the scheme has got good response as we have got around 10,000 bookings on the first day itself.
