Air Arabia to introduce daily service to Hyderabad

Air Arabia , the first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa, announced today that it will launch daily service to Hyderabad, India, beginning October 27, 2008.

 

Hyderabad will be Air Arabia's 43rd global destination and its 12th in India, reinforcing its status as the largest destination network in India of any Middle East-based carrier. Currently, Air Arabia provides direct service to Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Jaipur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.

 

The LCC will fly to Hyderabad daily, departing Sharjah at 0:20AM and arriving at Hyderabad at 5:30AM. Return flights will depart Hyderabad at 6:15AM and arrive in Sharjah at 8:40AM.

 

"Following the introduction of service to New Delhi in March, we are delighted to further expand our destination network to India by announcing the launch of service to Hyderabad," said AK Nizar, Head of Commercial Department, Air Arabia. "Hyderabad is known for its rich history, culture and architecture representing its unique character as a meeting point for North and South India .

 

By introducing timely, efficient and cost-effective travel options for those visiting this historic city, Air Arabia continues to demonstrate its unmatched commitment to India, especially on behalf of the significant Indian expatriate population in the UAE and wider Gulf region.

 

Twinned with Dubai, and also known as The City of Pearls , Hyderabad is today one of the most developed cities in India and a hub for information technology and biotechnology .
