Adani Petronet expands Dahej port capacity

CNBC-TV18 learns that Adani 's joint venture project with Petronet LNG , Adani Petronet Port in Dahej, has commissioned its second jetty - expanding its capacity to 20 million tonnes a year from 13 million tonnes - at an investment of Rs 750 crore.

With the increased capacity, the port which was commissioned in August 2010 is expected to ease to supply of dry bulk cargo, especially coal, to western and central India for various power projects.
