Acer India, one of the world’s leading Notebook vendors in a bid to bring the latest technology, first to its customers, has announced the launch of its ultra portable Acer TravelMate 6291 notebook based on Intel’s latest Intel® Core™2 Duo mobile processor T5500 with Vista Business. The new notebook is part of the new design notebooks from Acer whose design team worked with BMW Group DesignworksUSA to study design trends, develop the concept and visualize new forms.
The ProFile” design Notebook asserts portability, protection and adaptable usability that professionals can completely count. The TravelMate 6291 uses the Intel® Core™2 Duo mobile processor T5500 (2 MB L2 cache, 1.66/667 MHz FSB), supporting Intel® 64 architecture, Mobile Intel® 945GM Express chipset and Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN network solution for excellent speed and performance, better graphics and signal integrity using the N Wireless platform and has great storage capacity with a 160 GB HDD.
With a 12.1" WXGA Acer CrystalBrite™ TFT LCD display and system memory of 1GB RAM upgradeble up to 4GB, the Acer TravelMate 6291 comes equipped with battery life up to 5 hours. The Acer ePowerManagement allows you to choose the power management setting to extend the battery time. Additionally, the latest proprietary Acer SignalUp and Acer GridVista technologies have been incorporated into this notebook for more reliable wireless connectivity as well as optimized and feature driven display management.
