Acer India, one of the world’s leading Notebook vendors, has announced the launch of its Aspire 4310 and Aspire 4710 series for the Indian market. The new Acer AS 4310 and AS 4710 series is based on the ‘Pebble’ design and is targeted at empowering the common man with complete computing technology at an affordable price. The notebooks are part of the new design notebooks from Acer whose design team worked with BMW Group DesignworksUSA to study design trends, develop the concept and visualize new forms.
The latest introduction to Acer’s attractive range of notebooks is the Aspire 4310 series, which uses a Celeron M 520. It has a system memory of 512 MB, an 80 GB hard disk drive and a widescreen. With a LINUX operating system and Combo drive, the notebook will be available at Rs. 20,999/- (excluding taxes and carry case). A variant in this series is also available with a 0.3 Mega-Pixel camera and is priced at Rs. 24,499/- (excluding taxes and carry case).
The Aspire 4710 series comes with an Intel® CoreTM2 Duo mobile processor T5500, a 1GB RAM and a 160 GB hard disk drive. This model runs on the LINUX operating system, has Bluetooth and is priced at an affordable Rs. 39,499/- (excluding taxes and carry case). Another variant of this model is the Aspire 4710z, which runs on the Pentium dual core processor T 2080 and comes fully packed with 1GB RAM, inbuilt camera and 160 GB hard disk drive.
All these new notebooks under the new line up come equipped with Gigabit LAN.
