Accenture to add about 8,000 employees in India
Accenture, a $16.65 billion management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, will add about 8,000 employees in India in 2007 to end the year with around 35,000, according to Mr Stephen J. Rohleder, Accenture's Chief Operating Officer.

Globally, it would add around 54,000 employees to end 2007 with about 1,60,000, he told newspersons.
"India is truly the crown jewel of our global delivery network (GDN)," which has more than 53,000 professionals in 44 centres spanning 29 cities across five continents," he said.
