INX Media's flagship channel, mega Hindi GEC 9X, today unveiled a unique, powerful logo for its forthcoming epic drama Mahabharata. Created by INX Media's in-house design studio, the logo captures the essence of the dramatic excitement, realism and huge scale of Mahabharata on 9X.

 

The creative brief for the logo was for it to stand head and shoulders above the crowd and embody the power and grandeur of the greatest story ever told. The stylized way that the metal has been cast in the form of letters which are sharp and edgy, depicts the concept of weapons and armour from the epic, while the circular illuminated form above all represents the ultimate Sudarshan Chakra of Lord Krishna.

 

The stroke of the letters and the play of light on them reflect dynamism and the roller-coaster ride of relationships, power, politics, emotions and values that makes the Mahabharata a story for all time and all generations.

 

Commenting on the logo, Indrani Mukerjea, Founder & CEO, INX Media Pvt. Ltd. said, "We chose this logo from a number of others that had been created because it had strength and appeal for today and at the same time felt as if it could really have existed thousands of years ago. We believe this logo will do justice to the greatest Indian drama, which we hope to launch by 15^th of August as a gift of epic proportions to viewers in India and globally."

 

The Mahabharata on 9X will feature the biggest stars of Indian entertainment, and is one of the most keenly awaited shows this year.
