The contentious 3G intra-circle roaming matter will be taken up for final hearing on February 23 by TDSAT, reports CNBC-TV18.
In the meantime status quo will be maintained and companies like Airtel, Vodafone and Idea can continue to offer 3G services as per their intra-circle roaming pacts. TDSAT has directed DoT to file any additional documents by Wednesday and BSNL has been asked to submit documents to DoT to substantiate the loss it may have incurred.
Meanwhile, the recent offer made by Telenor for Unitech 's stake was on similar lines to the valuations arrived at by Telenor for the rights issue.
It is learnt that BNP and Lazard are helping out Telenor on the valuations. Unitech is yet to engage anyone right now, and will first rely on its in-house team to work on the valuations for its 32.75% stake in the JV.
For the rights issue, Telenor had valued the joint venture at Rs 400 crore.
