Q: Could you give us status updates on your ongoing strike at your plant in Vadadla? When does it seem that resolution could be struck and when would the strike get over?

A: The strike is on since the last three weeks. We have eight different locations in the different parts of India and 21 distribution points all over India. We are carrying about 45 days finish product stock also.

This particular location production is only about 3% of the total market per month. So we, the labour office people and the union are working to resolve the strike and most likely either this evening or by tomorrow the strike should be over.
