Gemini Communication Ltd (GCL) [BSE CODE NO: 532318], a leader in communications and networking solutions and pioneers in the field of System Integration, has been chosen by UniverCell Telecommunications , India's largest mobile retailer, to provide total IT infrastructure services.  

Under the deal, GCL will provide scoping and sizing of the IT infrastructure requirement, vendor identification & co-ordination, deployment and system integration. The offer also includes mapping to compliance standards as per ITIL & ISO27001.  

Announcing the deal, Ram Kumar, Executive Director, GCL, said "This agreement underscores UniverCell's commitment to quality. We are proud of the confidence UniverCell has in our abilities and our comprehensive and extensive portfolio of products and services." 

Commenting on the deal, D. Sathish Babu, Founder, UniverCell Telecommunications stated, "We are looking at opening 1000 stores in 1000 days and Gemini Communications' expertise in the IT sector will provide us immense support for the betterment of our IT infrastructure."
