Thakkar feels that the Budget has lost its importance as a big-bang event, which set the market trend. However, he said that the markets need to be aligned to fundamentals. Lakhotia feels that the Budget will be exceptionally beneficial to individual taxpayers. Phani Sekhar feels that just as the farmers have benefited from the Budget, the middle class will benefit from the modified tax slabs; people can save more. Wagle believes that the markets' performance can be termed as a 'crash' and the investors are unclear. The global news coming in is also hitting the markets, he said. Shah feels that the agricultural sector should do exceptionally well in the future; in the next 3-5-7 years.
