M&M Q1 net profit at Rs 299.6cr
Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) has come out with first quarter numbers. It has reported consolidated net profit of Rs 299.6 crore for first quarter compared to Rs 290 crore in corresponding quarter of previous year.

Standalone net profit stood at Rs 191.17 crore as against Rs 204.18 crore and net sales at Rs 2,612.78 crore versus Rs 2,236.25 crore.
According to CNBC-TV18 estimates, the company was expected to post net profit of Rs 205.7 crore and net sales of Rs 2493 crore.
