Asian mkts trade higher; Hang Seng, Nikkei up 0.7%

Asian markets gained following US cues. Shanghai Composite was trading at 3,003.046, up 10.20 points or 0.34% and Hang Seng was at 21,175.26, up 152.33 points or 0.72%.

Jakarta Composite was at 2,693.86, up 24.255 points or 0.91% and Nikkei 225 average was at 10,795.78, up 74.07 points or 0.69%.

Straits Times was trading at 2,901.58, up 5.15 points or 0.18% and Seoul Composite was at 1,662.92, up 14.91 points or 0.90%.

Taiwan Weighted was trading at 7,797.15, up 101.52 points or 1.32%.
