At 7: 44 am (IST), Asian markets were trading mixed.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng was up 0.64% or 122.59 points at 19,147.86. Japan's Nikkei was down 0.18% or 16.34 points at 8,857.77. Singapore's Straits Times rose 0.91% or 25.83 points at 2,872.65.
