At 7: 51 am (IST), Asian markets were trading lower. Japan's Nikkei was down 0.75%, Straits Times was down 0.42% and Taiwan Weighted was down 0.51%.
Singapore's Straits Times was down 0.42% or 12.95 points at 3,047.39. Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted was down 0.51% or 39.56 points at 7,675.60. Shanghai Composite, Hang Seng and Seoul Composite were shut today.
