Asian markets trading higher; Nikkei, Hang Seng up

At 8: 14 am (IST), Asian markets were trading higher. China's Shanghai Composite gained 0.58% or 18.29 points at 3,193.87. Also Read - How US markets closed

Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 1.12% or 248.26 points at 22,455.81.

Japan's Nikkei added 1.64% or 161.11 points at 9,970.10. Also Read - How Indian Markets closed

Singapore's Straits Times advanced 0.76% or 20.38 points at 2,713.76.

South Korea's Seoul Composite gained 0.92% or 14.51 points at 1,591.3.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted was up 0.84% or 63.01 points at 7,599.71.
