Asian markets end higher

At 14: 51 am (IST), Asian markets ended higher. Hong Kong's Hang Seng soared 1.76% or 374.71 points at 21,614.77.  

Japan's Nikkei gained 0.42% or 41.36 points at 9,844.31.

Singapore's Straits Times added 1.06% or 27.90 points at 2,649.45. 

South Korea's Seoul Composite rose 1.94% or 30.01 points at 1,579.93.  

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted advanced 1.97% or 144.11 points at 7,467.04. 

China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.46% or 14.31 points at 3,128.537.
