Asia trading weak; Hang Seng slips 3%, Nikkei down
At 8: 08 am (IST), Asian markets were trading weak. China's Shanghai Composite was down 1.08% or 34.37 points at 3,136.61. Hong Kong's Hang Seng plunged 3% or 665.84 points at 21,544.57. Japan's Nikkei slipped 1.81% or 169.73 points at 9,213.51. South Korea's Seoul Composite declined 2.50% or 39.96 points at 1,559.56.
