Asia trading mixed; Nikkei up 1%, Straits Times down

At 7: 35 am (IST), Asian markets were trading mixed. Shanghai Composite was down 0.54%, Hang Seng was up 0.14% and Nikkei rose 1.46%.

Asia trading mixed; Nikkei up 1%, Straits Times down
At 7: 35 am (IST), Asian markets were trading mixed. China's Shanghai Composite was down 0.54% or 10.93 points at 2,019.36.


Hong Kong's Hang Seng was up 0.14% or 29.37 points at 21,138.30.


Japan's Nikkei rose 1.46% or 128.91 points at 8,958.63.


Singapore's Straits Times was down 0.21% or 6.22 points at 2,939.70.
