Asia trading higher; Hang Seng, Nikkei up 3%

Asian market surged in the opening trade ahead of G-20 announcement. At 7:55am, China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.91% or 21.82 points at 2,429.83.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng added 3.83% or 517.59 points at 14,037.13.

Japan's Nikkei rose 3.01% or 251.58 points at 8,603.49.

Singapore's Straits Times gained 2.18% or 37.05 points at 1,739.31.

South Korea's Seoul Composite advanced 2.48% or 30.63 points at 1,263.99.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted rose 1.91% or 101.67 points at 5,416.12.
