Asia trading firm; Straits Times, Seoul Composite up

At 7: 48 am (IST), Asian markets were trading firm. Straits Times was up 0.24%, Seoul Composite was up 0.11% and Taiwan Weighted was up 0.22%.

At 7: 48 am (IST), Asian markets were trading firm. China's Shanghai Composite was flat at 2,059.45.


Hong Kong's Hang Seng was flat at 19,557.66.


Japan's Nikkei was down 0.10% or 8.80 points at 8,775.09.


Singapore's Straits Times was up 0.24% or 7.16 points at 3,024.38.


South Korea's Seoul Composite was up 0.11% or 2.04 points at 1,914.75.


Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted was up 0.22% or 16.64 points at 7,467.17.
