Asia trading firm; Shanghai Composite, Hang Seng up

At 7: 43 am (IST), Asian markets were trading firm. China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.48%, Hang Seng was up 0.16% and Seoul Composite rose 0.52%.

Asia trading firm; Shanghai Composite, Hang Seng up
At 7: 43 am (IST), Asian markets were trading firm. China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.48% or 9.76 points at 2,047.44.


Hong Kong's Hang Seng was up 0.16% or 29.98 points at 19,175.05.


Japan's Nikkei was flat at 8,672.26.


Singapore's Straits Times was flat at 2,993.49.


South Korea's Seoul Composite rose 0.52% or 9.76 points at 1,883.79.


Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted was up 0.27% or 19.93 points at 7,387.37.
