Asia trading firm; Shanghai Composite, Hang Seng up

Asia trading firm; Shanghai Composite, Hang Seng up

At 8: 06 am (IST), Asian markets were trading firm. China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.74% or 24.53 points at 3,332.88.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose  0.57% or 128.30 points at 22,584.14.

Singapore's Straits Times added 0.87% or 23.98 points at 2,785.52.

South Korea's Seoul Composite was flat at 1,618.39 .

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted was flat at 7,692.33.
