Asia slips further; Shanghai Composite down 3.6%
At 13 hours IST, Asian markets slipped further. China's Shanghai fell on concern that banks will have to raise more capital to meet swelling loan demand which dragged financial companies lower. China's Shanghai Composite plunged 3.62% or 119.185 points to 3,170.98.
At 11: 26 am (IST), Asian markets were trading lower. China's stocks fell on concern that banks will have to raise more capital to meet swelling loan demand which dragged financial companies lower. China's Shanghai Composite plunged 2.40% or 79.066 points at 3,211.099.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell 1.07% or 242.19 points at 22,369.61.
Japan's Nikkei slid 0.45% or 42.10 points at 9,399.54.
Singapore's Straits Times dropped 0.50% or 14.09 points at 2,778.75.
South Korea's Seoul Composite sank 0.36% or 5.75 points at 1,606.13.
Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted slumped 0.22% or 17.15 points at 7,739.16.
