Welspun Corp bags orders of Rs 1738 cr

Welspun Corp Ltd., the flagship Company of the $ 3.5 billion. Welspun Group and the 2nd largest line pipe company in the World (Source: Financial Times, UK) has won Pipes orders worth Rs. 1,738 Crore (213K MT of Pipes) from international and domestic markets. With the addition of these orders, the current order book of the company stands at Rs. 9,185 Crore (approx 1,242K MT for pipes, and external plate orders of 55K MT) without excluding the order being executed in the current quarter. In addition, Welspun has internal plate orders of 107K MT. It may be noted, that it is due to customer focused approach and superior quality products delivery, which has ensured the continuous flow of orders in challenging business environment.Source : BSE
