Fire in Bharat Bijlee plant at Navi Mumbai

Bharat Bijlee Ltd has informed BSE that on June 09, 2012 evening there was a fire in the electric motor storage area at the Company's Airoli Works, Navi Mumbai. The fire was contained within the said area and there have been no casualties. The estimated cost of the damages is being ascertained. The plant assets are adequately covered by insurance . There was no major disruption in operations due to the fire and the same are continuing normally.Source : BSE
