Popular DTH service in the country, Airtel Digital TV now boasts of a channel count of 262, out of which 15 boast of HD image quality.

Indian ADRs ended mostly lower on Thursday. In the telecom pack, Tata Communication was down 7.31% at $ 8.87 and MTNL was down 0.53% at $ 1.88. In the banking space, ICICI Bank was up 1.3% at $ 42.86 and HDFC Bank was up 1.03% at $ 142.45.

Indian ADRs ended mixed yesterday. In the telecom pack, MTNL was down 1.73% at $2.84 and Tata Comm was down 0.73% at $12.3. In the banking space, ICICI Bank was down 0.20% at $39.28and HDFC Bank was up 2.4% at $157.16.

The Indian ADRs ended mixed yesterday. In the IT pack, Infosys was up 0.89% at $48.58, Satyam was up 0.53% at $5.71, Wipro was up 0.27% at $18.80, while Patni was down 1.14% at $19.03.

Anish Damania, Business Head-Institutional Equities at Emkay Global Financial Services is bullish on midcap stocks TRF and HEG. In the IT pack, he prefers TCS over Infosys as the company has shown superior performance over the last 2-3 quarters. "We feel that TCSs out performance to Infosys will continue going forward."

In the IT pack, Infosys was down 2.19% at $41.90, Satyam was down 1.96% at $5.50, Wipro was down 1.53% at $15.41, while Patni was up 0.93% at $16.29. In the Telecom space, MTNL was down 3.65% at $3.96 but Tata Comm was up 1.88% at $20.59.
