IDBI Bank: Officers give notice to participate in 2-day nationwide strike

IDBI Bank has informed BSE that a section of the Officers of the Bank have given a strike notice proposing to participate in two-day nationwide strike called on February 20 & 21, 2013 by all India Federations/Associations of Bank Employees/Officers under the aegis of United Forum of Bank Unions.

SBI has informed that United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) has decided to support and join the call for nationwide strike, on the 20th & 21st February 2013 given by Central Trade Unions. All India State Bank Officers' Federation and All India State Bank of India Staff Federation being part of UFBU will also participate in the said strike.

Indian Bank has informed that United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) consisting of AIBEA, AIBOC, NCBE, AIBOA, BEFI, INBEF, INBOC, NOBW and NOBO have given a call for observance of two days nation-wide strike in banks on February 20, 2013 and February 21, 2013 in support of their demands.

Corporation Bank has informed that the Bank have been informed by the Indian Bank Association, vide their Circular letter dated February 06, 2013, that United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) consisting of nine national level unions/ organisations have given a call for a nationwide strike on Feb 20 and Feb 21, 2013 in support of some of their demands.
