In an interview with CNBC-TV18, TP Raman, MD, Sundaram BNP MF, speaks about his reading of the market and his outlook. He says, he has a fairly positive outlook for the market for the next one year or at least a few months. He is bullish on infrastructure, consumption and financial sector.

Post the big market fall in October last year, many mutual fund houses were sitting on a huge amount of cash. However, TP Raman, MD of Sundaram Mutual Fund AMC said that scenario has changed and the funds have been fully invested for the last few months.

TP Raman, MD, Sundaram Mutual Fund AMC feels depletion in assets under management (AUM) that is more on account of market action rather than redemptions. He said that as far as midcap funds were concerned the company was systematically investing into metals, into finance and some stock specifics as far as midcaps are concerned.
