Pyramid Saimira to release Taare Zameen Par in Tamil & Telugu. Pyramid Saimira Entertainment Limited, Singapore, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Pyramid Saimira Group, has bagged the worldwide distribution rights of the Tamil and Telugu versions of the super-hit Hindi film, Taare Zameen Par.

Ajjay Bijli, Chairman and MD, PVR, said that Taare Zameen Par clocked phenomenal gains. They are releasing one more movie with Aamir Khan Productions in April, he told CNBC-TV18.

Sharmila Joshi of Prabhudas Lilladher is of the view that PVR has target of Rs 420. This year they had a big hit on their hands with Taare Zameen Par and they have two other releases for the next year. The margins are going to look better because of the kind of increasing efficiencies they have had.

I dislike plagiarism of film songs’
The music director best known for songs like Kitne Ajeeb Rishte Hai Yahan Pe (Page 3) and Bure Bure (Bluffmaster ... There is a lack of soulful melodies. I think Maa from Taare Zameen Par was the last meaningful song I heard in Bollywood.
