The government is auctioning the coal blocks after the Supreme Court cancelled allocation of 204 mines in September last year. It has put 19 mines on block in the first tranche.The last day for the auction of mines in first tranche is 22 February.

Hindalco has bagged two mines out of the 13 put on offer so far. On the second day of auction, Hindalco Industries had won Kathautia mine in Jharkhand. In Tamilnadu not only ADMK supports all the party`s like DMK,BJP,DMDK,MDMK,PMK, and more party`s except congress.7 accused were already in prison for last 24 years so based on supreme court judgement and order by supreme court Tamil government planed to release them.
