Equity and Balanced funds delivered a decent performance amid volatile markets. In the debt space both Long term and Short term continue to excel recording few decline.

Equity funds continue to zoom up led by positive market rally. The Benchmark Nifty gained 42.85 points or 0.77% and closed at 5,607.15. Meanwhile, the BSE benchmark Sensex rose 139.26 points or 0.76%, to end at 18,428.61.

Equity funds yet again surged owing to positive global and domestic cues. The Sensex rose 131.27 points or 0.76%, to close at 17,431.85 while the Nifty went up 34.20 points or 0.65%, to end at 5,269.90 after hitting an intraday low of 5,225.75.

Equity funds slumped led by weak global cues and profit booking after stellar performance in the last four weeks. The BSE benchmark fell 370.68 points or 2.15%, to close at 16,863.30. Meanwhile, the NSE benchmark too dropped 117.40 points or 2.26% to 5,087.30.

Equity funds ended mixed ahead of credit RBIs credit policy review.The BSE benchmark went up 12.72 points, to close at 16,751.73 while the NSE benchmark fell just 2.35 points to 5,046.25.

Equity funds continued to dip led by the sharp decline of market. The Sensex was down by 183.92 points and closed at 15,543.93 while the Nifty fell 59.55 points, to close at 4,646.25.
