Ahead of EGMs of six Tata group firms called to remove Cyrus Mistry as director, Tata Sons interim Chairman Ratan Tata today told shareholders that the continued presence of the ousted executive in respective boards is a serious "disruptive influence" and can make the companies "dysfunctional".

I guess its a deadlock with india not relenting on the norms and considering the whole agreement invalid. Tatas are playing safe with the deposit money. It also means that Ratan Tata didn`t have any positive outcome from his meeting with Jaitley. Tatas should accept the alternate ways offered

There is no problem in Titan as Tatas have a great equation with Tidco and the chairman happens to be from Tidco. Surely, the fracas in Tatas is unsavoury and Ratan Tata`s reputation is in shreds for having sacked the Tata Sons chairman in a cloak and dagger fashion, undermining the credibility
