Ten days after being blamed for the suicide of 38-year old Prakash Sarvankar, ICICI Bank has given his family an ex-gratia payment of more than Rs 15 lakhs, reports CNBC-TV18.

It was another shocking case of a bank borrower committing suicide allegedly because he could neither pay up nor bear the threats of the bank's recovery agent. 38-year-old Prakash Sarvankar, a father of three daughters, had borrowed all of 50,000 rupees from ICICI on Jan 15.
