Shares in Gujarat State Petronet Ltd (GSPL) climbed about 6 percent to Rs 113 in early trade Thursday, a day after the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity overturned an order passed the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) in a case relating to tariff paid to the company for its high pressure gas grids.

Debtors have risen since last couple of quarters mainly because of some ongoing issues because of the PNGRB tariff orders which has still not been finalized. Once this thing is sorted out, this PNGRB revised tariff order and zoning the receivables will go away: GSPL

In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Harshavardhan Dole of IIFL said that there is a possibility of PNGRB challenging the order in the Supreme Court. According to Dole, there is not much to be predicted about the stock at the moment and whether the positivity on the IGL stock continues or not, depends on PNGRB's next move.

The Delhi High Court has ruled in favour of Indraprastha Gas that government regulator Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) does not have the authority to fix tariffs. Reacting to the development, IGL surged 29% to close at Rs 249.35 on the BSE.
