JPMorgan's Sajjid Chinoy says if growth doesn't pick up then the buffer available for next year is not enough. This year planned expenditure was expected to grow at 29%, hence there was enough buffer to cut back, but in FY15 it is expected to grow only at 16%. There is not much room to cut back on expenditure.

In 2012-13 fiscal, the plan expenditure was reduced by over Rs 90,000 crore to Rs 4.29 lakh crore, from Rs 5.21 lakh crore estimated in budget. This helped to contain fiscal deficit at 4.9 percent of GDP.

Dr Pronab Sen, former planning commission member and chief statistician of India does not think the ministries would adopt the Raghuram Rajan formula in toto in every case. Dr NK Singh former revenue and expenditure secretary also agrees with Sen.

Hopefully Co. must come forward with those planned expenditures without further delay.Particularly when he had already said acquired(Used this language the deal is over)a profitable co. in Gujarat.What about that?Why not a single announcement after raising money by GDR?

Why co. is not coming forward with planned expenditures even after 4 years it is not known.Probabily it may be the major reason which reflects the share price.

A self proclaimed humbug; this math can be done even by a standard 6th student who can sell all his assets to reduce his deficit. We donot need a Finance Minister for cut in Plan expenditure to reduce fiscsl deficit at the cost of Development and employment generation..

Interim budget will not fulfill people requirement. Cut in excise duty is not benefited to general public. Some portion of people will be benefited. CAD to be control and non planning expenditure to be control. Govt. should plan and thereafter incurred. Taking money through FII and spending
